Cooking with Fennel Essential Oil
Essential oils are much more potent than dried herbs or other flavourings, so even the smallest amount can add amazing flavour to dishes. So, when using fennel essential oil in cooking, it is best to use the "toothpick" method: dip the end of a clean toothpick into the oil bottle, then mix it into the other ingredients for an authentic anise flavour. Once thoroughly mixed into the food, taste it to see if more oil is needed.
