What's in the package?
Japanese Mint: Japanese Mint, botanically known as Mentha canadensis, is a mint species native to both North America and East Asia. It has various uses, and the essential oil is steam-distilled from the leaves and stems of this perennial plant. Although similar to Peppermint oil, Japanese Mint essential oil contains a higher percentage of the chemical component menthol, which gives the oil a stronger and more minty aroma. For this reason, Japanese Mint is often chosen as an ingredient in commercially available lozenges. From sweet treats to savory and spicy dishes, a drop of Japanese Mint’s unique characteristics and flavor can enhance a wide range of foods, offering a refreshing taste with every bite.
Copaiba: Copaiba essential oil is extracted from an aromatic tropical tree species native to South America. Indigenous peoples of North and Northeast Brazil have been using Copaiba essential oil in their traditional remedies since the 16th century. Copaiba essential oil is widely used as an ingredient in cosmetics such as soaps, creams, lotions, and perfumes, taking advantage of its soothing properties for the skin. Apply topically with a carrier oil or your moisturizer to help support visibly healthy skin.
Bergamot Mint: Bergamot Mint essential oil is derived from a flowering, perennial plant with violet flowers and heart-shaped leaves. Despite its name, Bergamot Mint is not related to the fruit also known as Bergamot. Like Lavender, the main components of Bergamot Mint are linalool and linalyl acetate. Blended with Fractionated Coconut Oil, it’s ideal for a calming and soothing post-workout massage. Bergamot Mint’s lavender-like and minty aroma can be a wonderful addition to a warm, relaxing bath.
Tea Tree: Often referred to as "Melaleuca," Tea Tree essential oil consists of more than 92 different compounds and offers incredible topical applications. Australian aborigines used Tea Tree leaves for centuries, crushing them into a pulp and applying them directly to the skin for their cooling effect. It is most widely known for its cleansing and purifying properties. Its use makes both nails and skin cleaner and more cared for, and it also contributes to maintaining healthy skin. Tea Tree is often used to soothe occasional skin irritations and calm the skin.
Blue Tansy: Blue Tansy, or Moroccan Tansy, is an annual Mediterranean plant with yellow flowers, growing in northern Morocco. Tansy flowers contain chemical components that your skin won't be able to get enough of! One such chemical component is chamazulene, which gives Blue Tansy its characteristic indigo blue color. This essential oil is also known for its beneficial effects on the skin. Add a few drops to a hot bath, use with your favorite skincare products, or simply massage it into your skin!
Star Anise: Star Anise is an evergreen tree native to Southeast Asia. It typically grows to a height of only 4–6 meters but can sometimes reach up to 20 meters. In Chinese culture, it is called "eight-horned anise" or simply "eight-horned" referring to its distinctive eight-follicle fruit. The main chemical component of Star Anise oil is anethole, which gives it the characteristic licorice-like aroma for which Star Anise essential oil and the plant's fruit are well-known. As a key ingredient in doTERRA ZenGest™ blend, Star Anise oil provides beneficial effects when applied topically for stomach discomfort.
