Sourcing
Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Manuka, Clove, and Lemon Myrtle all belong to the same plant family, Myrtaceae. All species are woody, contain essential oil, and their flowers are scattered in groups of four or five on the tree. Eucalyptus trees are evergreen, water-intensive plants. They can grow up to 15 meters high, and their leaves are thin, elongated, and green. The essential oil is extracted from the leaves by steam distillation.
